OOHPod was founded by John Tuohy who has a unrivalled track record in the parcel services/infrastructure sector with two previous highly successful exits for investors (Parcel Motel and Nightline). The company commenced trading in 2022 and is on track to be annualising €1m of revenues in 2026. 

 

Key Highlights:

  • 30,000 subscribers to the OOHPod service in Ireland and growing by 1000/month. 
  • 4,000 subscribers use the service at least once a month with 10,000 parcels handled per week through the 200 lockers in Ireland.  
  • Three primary carriers integrated in Irish service – UPS, DHL and Collect+. Expect An Post, Royal Mail and DPD to be onboarded soon.   
  • Locker locations expanding rapidly and agreements signed with Tesco, Lidl, Musgraves and other high foot-traffic retail venues.  
  • Almost €10m invested in the business already from many who have had exit success previously with “Locker King” John Touhy.  
  • Expect to reach break-even P&L at end of 2025 so possibly no further need for funding post this round. 
  • Entry into UK market imminent with a potential locker-location deal with Tesco UK.
